The Hotel
Located just on the outskirts of Kisumu CBD along the busy Nairobi Kisumu Highway, our latest project spans a total of 1100 square meters. This elegant hotel is designed to cater to families, business travelers, and vacationers alike, offering top-tier accommodation, dining, and wellness facilities.
Client Brief
The client envisioned a hotel that seamlessly integrates luxury and practicality. The requirements included diverse room types, dining options, wellness and recreation facilities, and comprehensive business meeting and event spaces. The design also needed to incorporate environmental sustainability measures.
Design Approach
To meet the client’s comprehensive needs, the design approach focused on maximizing functionality while maintaining an elegant aesthetic. The hotel accommodates four room types: standard, deluxe, suites, and family rooms. Each room type varies in size and amenities, catering to different budgets and preferences.
The dining facilities include an on-site restaurant with a lounge area, capable of serving meals throughout the day and on request. Several outdoor dining areas, both open-air and covered, offer diverse dining experiences.
For wellness and recreation, the hotel features an adult and baby swimming pool, heated for year-round use. Sunbathing sandy areas complement the pool facilities. A fitness center equipped with a gym and spa services provides guests with comprehensive wellness options.
Business travelers are accommodated with a variety of meeting spaces, from small to large. A spacious hall is available for wedding receptions and other large events. Additional facilities include a lounge with luggage storage, laundry and dry cleaning services, a car parking area, a kids’ play area, garden spaces, a rooftop terrace, picnic areas, and a game room.
Environmental considerations were paramount. The design incorporates an electric car charging area and solar lighting, reflecting a commitment to sustainable practices.
What we Achieved in This Hotel Design
The resulting design efficiently utilizes the available land, creating a comprehensive hotel that caters to a wide range of patrons. The hotel offers a luxurious and enjoyable stay, accommodating families, business travelers, and vacationers with diverse needs. The incorporation of green technologies underscores a commitment to sustainability, enhancing the hotel’s appeal to environmentally conscious travelers.
